CHRIS
Fitzgerald’s brother-in-law’s encouragement to help him at work
29 years ago led to a career in the industry and his own
JAXQuickfit Tyres store in Goulburn.
“I used
to go down to the tyre place my brother-in-law worked and help
him out on weekends,’’ Mr Fitzgerald said.
“Then as
soon as I finished school I basically started working in the
industry straight away and now I have my own JAXQuickfit Tyres.”
Chris
and business partner Darryl Hargrave have now owned the store
for 6 years and have a team of 6 staff working to ensure
customers get the quality of service they have come to expect
from JAXQuickfit .
The
workshop is fit-out with up-to-date JAXQuickfit Tyres machinery,
to ensure customers get exactly what they expect from their
experience – honest, reliable and fast service.
“We
obviously know all there is to know about selling tyres, but we
also pride ourselves on the mechanical work we carry out here,’’
Mr Fitzgerald said.
“We have
a top-class mechanic on staff that has 30 years experience
behind him.”
When
he’s not at JAXQuickfit Tyres working hard, Mr Fitzgerald loves
to play cricket and take part in any other sporting pursuit he
possibly can.
“To me
relaxing is either about playing sport or watching sport,’’ he
said.
JAXQuickfit Tyres Goulburn is open from 8am-5pm Mon to Fri and
8:30am – 12 midday Saturdays.
