"I've been working with JAXQuickfit for a while as they've supported me personally in V8 Supercars, and during that time I visited a lot of stores, and I liked what I saw," Cam McConville explains.

"JAXQuickfit has real family values, I like the way they do business, and I saw the opportunity to do something with them for my own family's future."

"Our aim initially is to focus on mum-and-dad customers, to give them the right sort of product and servicing at the right price, but being in Moorabbin I believe there is an opportunity longer term to develop significant fleet business," the bayside local resident says.

"We also have a strong marketing plan, we're not going to sit back, our plan is to be out there and active in the community."

Another point Cam was also quick to emphasize is the importance of female customers, who make up a large portion of the tyre buying public.

"The layout of our new tyre store and comfortable waiting area have been carefully considered for servicing all customer types, but especially so for females," Cam explains.

Although new to the coal face of tyre retailing himself, Cam has appointed an experienced Manager to head up his team of tyre technicians, fitters and mechanics, while wife Cassandra is in charge of the business' back office.

JAXQuickfit's new Moorabbin store has been extensively renovated to industry benchmark standard and includes a large investment in the very latest high-tech tyre fitment and servicing equipment.
