Strong
community spirit is how franchisee Simon Fell describes one of
Australia's most rapidly-expanding and diverse population
centres.
A
decade-long local resident, Simon Fell recently opened a new
JAXQuickfit Tyres store at Narellan, right in the middle of what
has become the region's automotive hub.
JAXQuickfit
Tyres Narellan offers the tyre retailing giant's full range of
tyre and wheel products, brake, suspension and mechanical
servicing, nitrogen fill and related services.
A Narellan
store speciality is also registration-compliance testing for
Pink and Blue Slips.
It's all
backed up by state-of-the-art computerised tyre fitment and
wheel alignment equipment.
"Narellan
and the region around it is growing enormously quickly, it's
probably the fastest growing area in Sydney if not Australia, so
there is ever-increasing demand for products and services,"
Simon Fell explains.
"You
have a mix of young families establishing homes in the new local
property developments, older 'established' families with rural
properties, and another sector of the market that is very
performance oriented.
"That
means we need to be very competitive on pricing for family car
tyres, also carry a strong range of four-wheel-drive tyres, and
a big selection of wheel & tyre combinations to appeal to the
young guys … it's a challenge but JAXQuickfit is strong in all
of those areas.
"I am
enjoying being part of the community and finding the right
solutions for such a diverse range of customers."
Franchisee
Simon Fell's background is in the automotive industry, where he
has worked extensively on both the mechanical repair and
engineering side, and in car retailing.
Away from
the business, Simon and wife Leah are fully occupied with two
young boys and, when time, an interest in Rugby League and
motorsport.
Australian-owned JAXQuickfit Tyres is unique in representing the
six global manufacturing giants of the tyre industry, including
quality and high performance passenger car, light truck and
four-wheel-drive tyre brands …
BFGoodrich,
Bridgestone,
Dunlop,
Goodyear,
Michelin, and
Pirelli.
This
enables it to offer customers a mix of brands that span the
premium, major and budget market sectors.
