It was the humble Ford Mustang that first piqued JAXQuickfit Tyres Phillip store owner Brett Finnigan's interest in cars way back when.
The hard-working franchisee of the Phillip store said the model and make of the Mustang was difficult to trump, and he still lists the car as his all-time favourite.
Mr Finnigan bought the JAXQuickfit Tyres Phillip in 2002 after tossing up the idea of business ownership for some time during his previous 22years in the automotive industry.
"It is no secret that I have always loved cars,'' Mr Finnigan said.
"So it does seem kind of natural to be working so closely with them I guess."
JAXQuickfit Tyres Phillip staff says nitrogen tyre treatments are a current stand-out product.
Mr Finnigan said the nitrogen gives the tyre a longer life, and makes it safer on the roads.
"Tyre safety is paramount, and the nitrogen definitely makes things safer out there,'' he said. JAXQuickfit Tyres Phillip has 5 staff and also offers a full range of mechanical services.
When Mr Finnigan is not working hard at the store he can be found pottering around his backyard at home, trying to beautify his lawn.
"I like to be in the fresh air in my time off, so anything outside is a good thing,'' he said. JAXQuickfit Tyres Phillip is open from
