Dunlop head into the halfway mark of the V8 Supercar Championship Series season at the City of Ipswich circuit and Winton Raceway with high expectations after the sole tyre supplier to the V8 Supercar Championship Series introduced a new, control tyre at Darwin’s Hidden Valley. “I was generally very pleased with the way things went at Darwin. I anticipated it would take a bit of time for the teams to get a handle on the new tyre but overall the majority of teams were pleased with how they adjusted to the new tyre,” explained Kevin. “I have said previously that by the time we get to Phillip Island both ourselves here at Dunlop and the teams will be fully accustomed to the new control tyre and it will be business as usual. This is still the case and I’m looking forward to the second half of the season."
