Cameron McConville delivers despite difficult weather at Philip Island

Yesterday’s L&H 500 was a great spectacle at Phillip Island delivering on the promise of exciting and torrid endurance racing. The conditions varied between sunshine, wind squalls, pelting rain and partially damp.

Cameron : “The car was fast, I was running with Garth & Frosty in the Top 6 for first half of race. The car was fantastic.”
 

A Race 1
The strategy call was not to take the compulsory pit stop in this race. Cameron grabbed valuable points with a very strong 6th position.

B Race 2
The Team managed a great pit stop but unfortunately had to give way to another car at the pit exit and lost some time. The combined efforts of the drivers generated a good grid position of 14th for the L&H 500.

L&H 500
Further technical changes greatly improved the car before the L&H 500. Cameron stormed into the Top 6 for the first portion of the race.
