FastResponse Key to Dunlop’s Product Line-up

DUNLOP, EXCLUSIVE TYRE PROVIDER TO THE V8 SUPERCAR CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES HAS ANNOUNCED AN EXTENSIVE RANGE EXPANSION FOR ONE OF ITS MOST POPULAR LUXURY TYRES, THE SP SPORT FASTRESPONSE.

The award-winning product is a tyre with excellent dry and wet handling capabilities, superior cornering stability, high aquaplaning resistance and enhanced grip and steering precision.

Dunlop’s Consumer Product Manager, Blake Vincent, explains the tyre’s advanced levels of comfort, braking power, cornering and road-handling.

“When researching and purchasing tyres, everyone should really take into consideration the key safety benefits that a tyre can offer. It is, at the end of the day, the only piece of your car in contact with the road,” Mr Vincent said.

“The SP Sport FastResponse is equipped with Dunlop’s Touch Technology features which help
to deliver improved handling and enhanced grip.”

Dunlop is dedicated to improving the driver’s ability on the road and to creating the ultimate driving experience, every day. The tyres are pushed to the limits in the harshest of testing environments, which results in the tyres outperforming on everyday roads.

“SP Sport FastResponse features an advanced asymmetric Tri-Area tread design: zone one optimizes road feedback for better handling and responsiveness; zone two has a continuous rib around the centre of the tyres, which aids stability at high-speed; and zone three has larger and stiffer outside tread blocks to ensure drivers are in control of the vehicle especially when taking corners,” he said.

In addition, the SP Sport FastResponse is equipped with a special silica compound, significantly improving the tyre’s mileage and grip in wet conditions.

“SP Sport FastResponse tyre has been built with reassuring high aquaplaning resistance, providing an excellent performance in wet handling and braking,” explains Vincent.

“The tyres design is also developed with Dunlop’s Multi-Radius Tread Technology (MRT), resulting in a larger contact patch and better pressure distribution. This helps to prevent both heel and toe wear as well as providing higher stability and steering precision.”

The tyre comes complete with European accolades that include the German Automotive Club ADAC awarding the Dunlop SP Sport FastResponse its top grade.
