Reports in the Spanish daily newspaper Diario AS, state that Pirelli will start testing its Formula 1 tyres at Mugello in Italy using a 2009 Toyota F1 car driven by Nick Heidfield.
Apparently, the tests will run for three days starting Monday 16th August and will be followed up with test programmes at Jerez in Spain & Monza in Italy.
Pirelli will become the sole tyre supplier to Formula 1 in 2011, replacing Bridgestone, which announced its withdrawal earlier in the year.
