After consultation with motorcycle industry figure heads and Australian Superbike teams, riders and officials, Dunlop and the Australian Superbike Championship promoters IEG have decided to modify the tyre model eligibility next year for the series.
The Superbike class will be using the UK made Dunlop Ntec tyres in the 2011 ASBK season, which there will be one size made available and two compounds.
Prostock 1000 (formerly known as Superstock 1000) will be using the Dunlop D211 slick, also available in one size with two compounds. Superstock 600 tyres will not changing.
Dunlop will also be using a controlled wet tyre for 2011 to ensure parity.
