Michelin Lifestyle, a range of consumer products promoting the Michelin brand, is celebrating its tenth birthday.
Launched in 2000, Limited was created to extend and enhance the appeal of the Michelin brand through developing new consumer products for markets worldwide.
The Michelin Lifestyle business incorporates three categories of products – automotive accessories, footwear and heritage and culture products.
The first MICHELIN branded products, metallic snow-chains, were launched in Europe in 2001, and since then the product range has expanded significantly to incorporate over 1,200 products with more than 75 licensing partners around the world.
In 2009, over 12.7 million MICHELIN licensed products were sold through 30,000 sales outlets in over 85 countries.
