Continental Tyres Dominates 2010 Tyre Tests

After less than six months on the market, the Continental ContiSportContact™ 5P (CSC 5P) has blitzed the competition, dominating the 2010 tyre tests of respected European media outlets.

As a result, English online publication “Tyre Reviews” has cited the ContiSportContact™ 5P as “High-Performance Tyre of the Year” and named Continental “Brand of the Year”.

The independent editorial staff based their decision on the performance of the Continental tyre during the 2010 tyre tests, in which the CSC 5P competed eleven times, landing first place in six of the tests and a top three position in the remaining tests.

The online publication “Tyre Review” is run by independent automotive enthusiasts, who based their decisions on the test results of major West European car magazines. The complete results and the list of other rankings can be found at www.tyrereviews.co.uk

The ultra high performance and award winning ContiSportContact™ 5P is available in sizes from 18 inch upwards and has been specifically designed to meet the ambitious expectations of the luxury and sports vehicle manufacturers.

Designed for optimal performance in both wet and dry conditions, and with offerings such as short braking distances, increased grip and improved handling, the 5P had already been given the OE green light long before its official debut, with initial approvals being granted by Mercedes-Benz AMG for the C 63, E 63 and SLS, as well as by Audi for the TT RS and by Renault for the Mégane III Sport.
