MICHELIN climbs to the top of the Acropolis!

Victory on this year’s Acropolis Rally of Greece ended up in the hands of Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia. The French pair’s CITROEN DS3 WRC completed the course in a total time of 4:04:44.3s after a thrilling fight with the similar car of team-mates and seven-time World Champions Sébastien Loeb/Daniel Elena who came second, +10.5s behind the winners.

US military awards Goodyear and Michelin US$60 million of tyre contracts

The Ohio-based, Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Co., has been awarded a maximum of US$37,104,838 for aircraft tyres, whilst Michelin North America Inc., was awarded a maximum of US$28,017,732.

Block to Rock Formula One

’Gymkhana’ legend and World Rally Championship star Ken Block will drive the Pirelli F1 test car, which has been used by the Italian company since its Formula One programme was announced in June 2010.
