Dunlop Grandtrek AT3 is "Tyre of the Year"

In Spain, Goodyear Dunlop tyres continue to demonstrate that they are a step ahead of the market, and the proof can be seen in the many awards the tyres have received to date.

The latest tyre to gain recognition is the Dunlop Grandtrek AT3, which follows on the heels of last year's recognition for the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric, recognised as the Spanish Tyre of The Year in the saloon (sedan) car category.

Goodyear Dunlop is keeping on the same successful track with the Dunlop Grandtrek AT3 being named Spanish Tyre of the year for 2009 in the four-wheel-drive vehicle category. The prize, organised by the aftermarket and tyre publication, Neumáticos y Mécanica Rápida, is one of the most prestigious awards in the sector and is marking its tenth edition this year.

The Tyre of the Year award recognises the efforts of manufacturers in the research and development of quality products and, above all, their contributions to driver safety and respect for the environment. A jury of experts, including representatives from garages, distributors and the specialised media, made the Tyre of the Year selection, which is awarded in three categories: saloon cars, industrial vehicles and 4x4/SUVs.

During the last two years, Goodyear Dunlop's efforts to launch better and more innovative products have been recognised by industry connoisseurs in Spain. Thanks to all the features of the Dunlop Grandtrek AT3, it was chosen as the best tyre to equip the increasingly prevalent 4x4 and SUV segment in Spain, showing yet again that the company knows how to adapt to market demands.
