Gem Visa Interest Free Finance
Gem Visa gives you two great interest free options.
- Every time you make a purchase over $250 on your Gem Visa card, you'll automatically receive 6 months interest free.
- If you’re making a bigger purchase such as a set of "Bridgestone Turanza ER300 Tyres", you might like a longer interest free period. We offer a range of interest free terms (9 months, 12 months) to Gem Visa cardholders
You make the purchase and, every month, you make a minimum monthly repayment. Remember you’ll need to pay more than the minimum monthly amount to pay off your purchase within the interest free period.

Can I choose which interest free promotional offer I use?
The interest free promotional offer is determined by the store you're shopping at. Stores run different interest free promotions at various times of the year. Ask in-store about the interest free promotional offers that are currently available.

Can I use Gem Visa to make additional interest free purchases?
Yes. As long as you don't go over your credit limit.

Do I need to re-apply before I make another interest free purchase?
No. As long as you have enough credit on your account, you can shop at participating stores.

Can I only use my Gem Visa card at the store where I initially made my purchase?
No. It doesn't matter if you have a Gem Visa card that is branded with the logo of the store where you first applied for the card, your Gem Visa is accepted at over 10,000 stores around Australia and you can purchase again from any of those stores.

What is the minimum purchase amount for interest free?
This varies, depending on the store you're shopping in. Talk to the salesperson in the store to find out more.

When does my Interest Free promotion start?
Once you have your goods, and Gem Visa has received all correctly completed paperwork from the store. Your account is then created. And your interest free period begins.

Do I have to pay off my interest free purchase before I can use my card again?
No. Providing you have sufficient available credit left on your card, you can use your Gem Visa card as often as you like.

Can I use Gem Visa to make additional interest free purchases?
You can purchase as many times as you like - up to your credit limit - from stores that accept Gem Visa.
