Family service reigns on the Sunshine Coast as JAXQuickfit Tyres launches at Noosaville

JAXQuickfit Tyres has recently extended their Sunshine Coast family to include Noosaville.

With this addition to the network, JAXQuickfit Tyres now has three stores servicing tyre, wheel and vehicle maintenance needs across 100km of the Sunshine Coast; Caloundra, Maroochydore and now Noosaville, with all three having strong family ties that they believe gives their customers a better experience. Why?

Noosaville store owner, John Waterhouse, has recently converted his existing tyre store to become part of the JAXQuickfit Tyres group.

"I originally purchased the store as 'Bob Jarvis Tyres' in 2003 and had no need to change the name at that stage. We just eased ourselves in and made ourselves known to our customers," said John.

Due to some changes in his business, John found it necessary this year to update the store and sought an alliance with JAXQuickfit.

"We chose JAXQuickfit because I have known the organisation for 20 years and I knew that they were a successful and forward looking franchise Group. Despite having owned this business for three years, John says that he feels as if he's starting afresh in a whole new business now being part of the JAXQuickfit organisation.

"We had a new office built on to the existing site earlier this year and the day it was completed was the day we identified it in the JAXQuickfit colours," said John.

The Noosaville store will continue to uphold the high standards of service and will be able to offer not only top-end tyre expertise, but mechanical assistance as well. John's team at Noosaville have a wealth of experience between them.

"I'm a mechanical engineer and have spent most of my life in the automotive industry. Formerly, I was the Technical and Marketing Manager for Pirelli for 12 years."

"My team of staff also have a wealth of knowledge; Murray has been in the industry for 16 years and I have an apprentice who has been working at our store for four years, as part of a school programme and is showing a wonderful aptitude."

"We try to employ staff that is experienced in order to provide our customers with the best assistance possible," said John.

Being located on the Sunshine Coast, a booming area of Australia is only of benefit to the three stores that span the area.

"Noosa is a fairly itinerant town; people come and go from here all of the time and we are finding that we are picking up a lot of new customers, as the new people coming into town already know the JAXQuickfit name from other cities that they have lived in," said John.

David Loftus, who purchased JAXQuickfit Tyres Caloundra in January, along with his brother Ashley, agrees with John about the nature of the population on the Sunshine Coast. Maybe we need to point out when they started the business as they are quite new.

"We are looking forward to building up the business. The population base in our area is growing constantly, so we are able to grow our business and work with the other JAXQuickfit stores to provide the best service and price possible to the residents of the Sunshine Coast," said David.

April Harwood, from JAXQuickfit Maroochydore, is also committed to providing 'No-Hassle Guaranteed' service to her customers and thinks that the family atmosphere on the Sunshine Coast makes a real difference.

"We're all family operations on the Sunshine Coast. My father, brother and I own the Maroochydore store; Ashley and David are brothers who own the Caloundra store and John at JAXQuickfit Tyres Noosaville has moved his entire family to Noosa,"

"We all work together to service the area and between us span 100km of coastline. As part of the same group, we are able to service each other's customers as required. Many people live and work in different areas so the person who buys four tyres on a Saturday at one store may then go to a different store during the week for their maintenance,"
