New Dunlop High Performance Tyre - JAXQuickfit Tyres

Dunlop Tyres has created history by producing Australia's first locally made 235/40R18 high performance tyre. It’s part of an extension to the popular SP Sport 3000A range which now features a number of new sizes, including a 215/45R17. Since its initial inception, the SP Sport 3000A tyre has been well received, and counts among its supporters the two-time Australian V8 Supercar champion, Marcos Ambrose. Ambrose says the new SP Sport 3000A is a true high-performance tyre which delivers maximum response without compromising on handling or safety. ”Grip, control and performance are just as important for winning races as they are for everyday driving,” says Ambrose. “And that’s what you get from this tyre.” Featuring a silica blend tread compound, the SP Sport 3000A has a unique asymmetric tread pattern which disperses water more efficiently for greater traction. The same tread pattern also works to reduce road noise and rolling resistance for greater fuel economy.

The tyre is designed to help protect alloy wheels from kerb damage and its jointless band construction provides straight-line stability as well as improved steering response and cornering performance. Dunlop's SP Sport 3000A is not only available in a variety of sizes suitable for after-market fitment to many different vehicles, but it has been chosen by a number of car manufacturers to be fitted as original equipment, including Ford.
