A Brief Company History
At the start of 2005, two of the best known names in the Australian tyre retailing business and associated services, joined forces to become a major power.

With the merger, the new company, now known as JAXQuickfit Tyres, aims to build on its combined reputation to become the most respected and professionally managed automotive service provider in Australia

JAX Tyres was established in 1949 and after 50 years, has now become a major player in the Australian automotive business. Initially involved in retailing from a single site, the company has grown its presence into three states in Australia and expanded its role from tyre retailing to include general automotive servicing.

Quick Fit Tyre Service was founded in 1995 and quickly created a strong presence in Queensland, with a subsequent expansion into Victoria.

Combined with JAX’s excellent market coverage in NSW, the new company now has a network of stores of more than 70 outlets so as to be able to reach a broader customer base from Cairns to Tasmania.

By offering a balanced product mix, combined with a network of strategically positioned outlets and a depth of experienced and motivated personnel, JAXQuickfit Tyres has a strategic goal to establish itself, as the most respected and professionally managed tyre & mechanical house in Australia.
