JAXQUICKFIT Tyres Fyshwick owner Tony Megalli has recently celebrated his 21^st birthday in the automotive industry.

Of these 21 years, seven have been spent in tyre retailing with the last three being with JAXQuickfit in Fyshwick.

He says his best advice for vehicle owners is to pay attention to regular log book servicing - no matter how small it seems.

"Make sure you get your minor servicing done," Tony says.

"If you keep getting things checked, they are unlikely to cause you troubles and you will have a much better idea of how your car is running on a regular basis - it is also much safer to get these things checked regularly."

JAXQuickfit Fyshwick has seven staff in total with two fully qualified mechanics working on a full-time basis.

Tony says staff are only too happy to provide customers with servicing and tyre recommendations, obligation free.

"We are here to offer the expert advice and assistance," he said.

"If you just want to come in for an alignment, that's great, we encourage customers to drop in."

When he is not running JAXQuickfit Tyres Fyshwick, Tony and his family can be found camping somewhere in New South Wales.

"We often head up towards where it is a little bit warmer, but I am well acclimatised to the ACT weather as I have lived here all my life," he said.

JAXQuickfit Tyres Fyshwick have great working relationships with a range of associated businesses in the area such as panel beaters and other mechanical shops to which they supply their tyres.

JAXQuickfit Tyres Fyshwick is open from 8am - 5pm Mon to Fri and 8am - 12 midday on Saturdays.
