Long-standing franchisee, Jason Smith has teamed up with good mate Rowan Brennan to purchase the JAXQuickfit Aspley store.

Smith, who also owns the successful Bowen Hills franchise and has 20 years experience under his belt, was keen to extend his investment in the JAXQuickfit Group; while Brennan has always been interested in the tyre industry and was looking for a career change from security services and logistics. Both share an interest in motor racing and have had experience in rally driving.

"I’m local to the area and have already seen customers that I used to go to school with" Brennan says.

“There’s a lot of repeat business and a diverse customer mix, which is rewarding. In all, Jason and I are stoked with the business and are having a lot of fun" Brennan says.

Since the purchase of the business, the store’s showroom has undergone extensive renovations with the installation of twin 50-inch plasma screens and leather couches making it both female and family friendly.

"Females make up a significant portion of the tyre buying public and we are very conscious of that” Smith says.

The store is also conveniently situated amongst a retail precinct, giving customers the opportunity to shop whilst they are waiting.

Boasting a wide range of high quality tyres and wheels, JAXQuickfit Aspley is also in the business of brakes and suspension repairs & replacement - along with a range of associated services for wheel alignments, tyre & wheel balancing, tyre repairs and nitrogen tyre inflation. New equipment has also been installed including a new tyre balancing machine and wheel aligner.
