About Ferrari

For most people the name "Ferrari" is synonymous with "supercar". The iconic Italian brand was founded in 1929 by Enzo Ferrari and immediately began what has proven to be a long and successful association with racing. Initially creating race vehicles and sponsoring drivers, Ferrari made its first street-legal cars in 1947, following the Second World War.

The brand's "prancing horse" logo is one of the most widely recognised in contemporary motoring, and ongoing success in Formula One has also created a strong level of awareness. For most people a Ferrari is financially out of reach and even those lucky enough to own one would rarely get to drive them anywhere near the limits that they are designed for.
