Cameron McConville Finishes the Season at Oran Park Raceway 2008 Australia V8 Supercar Championship : Grand Finale

The 2008 V8 Supercar Championship season wound up in difficult circumstances today for WOW Racing.
Thankfully lower temperatures greeted the team this morning then the predicted showers arrived between races 2 and 3.
Cameron was squeezed off the road in Race 2 and found himself in the middle of a Lap 1 incident in Race 3.
Cameron McConville comments
Race 2
"That was a shocking race, the car struggled for rear grip from the start and I was squeezed off by Coulthard dropping me back 8 spots. It was battle from start to finish and 2 flat-spotted tyres early on in race added to the drama"
Race 3
"Jack Perkins spun in front of me and I ran into him in first corner of Lap 1. I was also given a 10 second penalty for a rolling start. It was an ordinary way to finish the season but I am thankful to the Team for their non stop racing passion and commitment."
