Sam Murdoch has joined David Brown as franchisee partner of the thriving JAXQuickfit Tyres Cairns store.

Realising the potential of the store and recognising the support network offered by JAXQuickfit , Sam jumped at the opportunity when it arose, drawing on his previous experience at Tyrecorp and Pirelli to help his transition into the retail sector.

With a fresh approach and a real enthusiasm, coupled with David’s 30 plus years tyre industry experience, the new partnership has made substantial improvements to the already successful store.

"There is no doubt, Sam brings fresh eyes to the table, his input has been invaluable and I am extremely excited about the future direction of this business,"David Brown said.

A veteran of the industry, David’s love affair with tyres, was passed down by his late father to him and his four brothers, who now all co- own another JAXQuickfit store in Coffs Harbour.

This commitment will see David spending three months of the year in Cairns with Sam now responsible for the day to day running of the operation.

Assisting Sam are eight highly qualified staff to service the local Cairns and surrounding community.

“Our primary aim is to provide only the highest quality of customer service all within a family friendly environment,” Sam Murdoch said.

Standing six foot six inches tall, the talented soccer player, hopes the new business partnership will be kicking goals for years to come.
