JAXQuickfit Tyres has granted a new franchise in Rockhampton and there's a wealth of local tyre knowledge behind the business.

Franchisee husband-and-wife team Lindsay and Lorelle Rayner have more than a decade's experience in the tyre industry, and as Rockhampton locals are already well known for their Southside Tyre & Mechanical business, upon which the new store is based.

Renovating the store to JAXQuickfit Tyres specifications has brought with it a freshen up all over, new wheel changing equipment and an additional hoist, to service the projected increased demand.

"National buying power and the JAXQuickfit system enables us to offer a full range of the best tyre brands, an extensive array of wheels, plus steering, brake and suspension servicing," Lorelle Rayner explains.

"Our typical Rockhampton customer has a passenger car or suburban four-wheel-drive, plus we also get a bit of truck work as well, and occasionally a few ATV tyres too, so it's a busy business.

"But with five staff there's always someone ready to help straight away, and we have the flexibility to get the job done quickly and at the right price."

When they can get away from the store, Lindsay and Lorelle enjoy some time together horse riding and fishing.
