The nicest thing about being the boss is being able to see the fruits of your labours in the smiles upon the faces of happy customers - according to JAXQuickfit Tyres Epping owner Kane Ravenscroft.

Having entered the business over half a decade ago with his father, Ian, Kane branched out on his own five years ago to head up the busy store in Epping.

The store services the recently bushfire ravaged areas of Victoria known as Kinglake and Whittlesea, and its seven friendly staff wouldn't be anywhere else.

"It's nice to see how much your advice and hard work can help customers and send them away happy," Kane said.

"At the end of the day, if I have achieved that, then I have done my job well."

The Epping store boasts highly trained and experienced staff and works with the best machinery in the business to ensure a fast turnaround for customers who come to JAXQuickfit expecting efficient and friendly service.

Mr Ravenscroft keeps busy outside of work with his wife and three children.

"I've got a massive interest in cars, obviously, and I have a passion for high end vehicles," he said.

"I've always loved cars, so owning a JAXQuickfit Tyres was pretty natural for me and where I wanted to see myself in the future."
